Viajante was a Michelin starred restaurant in the Town Hall Hotel in London. The chef, Nuno Mendes, recently moved on to the Chiltern Firehouse, so sadly the website isn’t around anymore. I’m really pleased with it though so I decided to keep it in my portfolio.
They already had some beautiful photography so I used this to do most of the work and kept the design clean and elegant to reflect the style of their cuisine. It was important that the site fitted with their existing brand identity so I worked closely with them through several development stages to get the layout and user journey just right.
This project was also significant as it was the first time I worked with Spring Media Design. They helped with all the technical, back-end stuff like web hosting and booking forms and we’ve since worked together on lots of other projects.
